It is our pleasure and honor to introduce you to the God that has saved and transformed our lives! Some may question, “what is salvation? Is Salvation for everyone, and if it is for everyone how do I obtain it?”
The Bible is clear. God loves you and desires that you receive His gift of Salvation. II Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent.”
What is Salvation?
Salvation is deliverance by the grace of God from eternal punishment for sin. It is granted to those who will accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. Salvation is available in Jesus alone.
How do we receive Salvation?
The Bible declares in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” This is the promise and covenant between God and His people.
If you have confessed with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, congratulations! ALL of heaven is celebrating with you. The entire Northeast Christian Center family rejoices with you and the angels of God that you have given your life to Jesus Christ. If Jesus were to come back for the church today, you would go to heaven with Him. You are now SAVED! According to I John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
Now that you are saved, it is important that you join a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. It is the will of God that you fellowship with other believers that will help you stay on course.
